Such a touching post! And as I'm getting ready to complete my bunch of three (the first two are 2 yrs and 8 days apart, and the 2nd two will be 18 months apart), I'm overwhelmed with how I'm going to manage everything. Trying to remember they're all gifts that I've asked for will hopefully get me through the day!

I love that quote- there's always room for one more if they're gifts- will repeat that when asked dumb questions by strangers & family members!

Thanks for this! I needed it today as I stress about what organized activities I should be signing my recently 3 year old up for and then thinking about how we can't have any more than the 2 we have now because I will never be able to keep up with all of the activities they "need" to do. This reminds me that I need to slow down and enjoy my babies now, not worry about making sure they have the right activities to set them up for some point in the future.

My dad used to phrase it as "livestock vs. pets." Same idea.

This was a great little article. We have two that are 16 months apart and everytime we even mention a 3rd to anyone, people literally gasp. I would love a 3rd. My heart aches for a 3rd. Do I think it will be hard? Yes! But how could I turn down another gift?! Now I just need to convince my husband of that! :)
