Yes, the news is true. Bugaboo just announced its plans to a sell a double stroller beginning next year. The Porshe of the stroller industry has apparently realized it's missing a huge market out there. But for Baby Bunchers it may be the realization that Baby Bunching is not only très chic, but here to stay.
As many of you commented on our Facebook page, the price tag (not yet released) may require you to sell one of your children thereby not needing the stroller at all. Strangely the stroller looks a lot like others recently out on the market. Or perhaps they are copying the Bugaboo. Is it worth the extra money for the original?
We know stroller knowledge is important to our readers as the double stroller is your main mode of transporting your Bunch. Our Baby Bunching Double Stroller Guide is a bit outdated. And in the past year, new strollers from Peg Perego, UppaBaby, iCandy, Baby Jogger and Britax have all come out with similar looking Bugaboo and Phil & Ted like strollers. Many convert from a single to a double and include a million other configurations.
We know you all rely on us to provide you with the latest and greatest, but we need your help on this. Post here or send us an email at [email protected] or post to our Facebook page what you love/hate about your current stroller or the ones you have used in the past. We will compile it all for you with a newly updated Double Stroller Guide and a few of our favorite picks.
Well, it was just a matter of time. I have a Bugaboo Chameleon (clearly I had no idea my single stroller days would be so short lived!) and I absolutely loved it when my daughter was a baby. I longed for a double Bugaboo when I was shopping for doubles.
However, now that I have the BOB (after falling majorly out of love with my Phil & Ted and selling it) I now realize that the Bugaboo isn't nearly as easy to maneuver as the BOB. I still use my Bugaboo when I need a single, and I am so surprised that now I find it somewhat less than wonderful. Don't get me wrong - I realize it's a great stroller, and I have gotten lots of use out of it, but if I had my choice now I'd most likely stick with the BOB.

SO annoyed about this! I just gave birth to #2 and #1 is 20 months old. Still sleeps in his stroller, which made our double stroller options very limited. We settled on a Baby Jogger Elite, but I am honesntly concerned I won't be able to life it in and out of my SUV. It's HEAVY! Also considered the BJ City Mini Double, but we really love the bugs air-filled tires bc we do a lot of farmer's markets, cobblestone streets. I would totally buy the double bug if it were out right now...I'm so missing the bassinet for baby #2. I just wonder if the double bug will be a three step fold bc you'll have to take both seats off...
