I have been sitting on this baby fence for a long time now and am afraid of which way to jump.
When my husband and I got married, we always said we wanted three children. My current Baby Bunch rocked my world in such a way that until the youngest was three I was unable to even imagine adding more chaos into the house. (Yes, I was just that scarred!) And now that my kids are 4 and 5 1/--and I'm nearing 35--I feel I either need to piss or get off the pot.
Enter in the recent thought of Baby #3.
[Linda's full post of ponderings/ramblings is at DC Metro Moms.]
Good luck deciding!
I have 3- all bunched. And we decided that's enough. Though it's a little hard- when my other 2 were the age my youngest is, I either had a newborn, too, or was pregnant.
It makes me miss the thought of another little one.
Though, I think it would be easier if we waited until the youngest was in school and then got to spoil the baby rotten. Take time with things instead of everything always being so insane.

Glad to hear the fear eventually lessens. I've got a 1 month old and a 16 month old. We wanted 4... but the idea of more freaks me out. Glad to see in a few years maybe I'll want another :-)

My two are 27 months and 11 months and I'm already catching myself thinking about #3. Eep!

A large space between your bunched two and your hypothetical baby might lead to more sanity with your third than you got to enjoy with your second. Maybe, anyway. :) Full disclosure, though: I'm considering a third myself so I am not exactly unbiased on the subject.

FOr me it was harder with the babies who were further apart in age. I don't know if that's because I'm more mature and better able to deal with things, or if Baby Bunching is just so much fun to me that I don't know how I did it any other way.
I'm no super mom, and if I can handle five kids, ANYONE can.

Ummm... I'm sorry? Is your best friend's name not Cara Fox? I'm confused as to why you are even asking yourself this question... Not to be a Debbie Downer, but...
