We have started looking through the wonderful comments from our two-day double stroller dialogue a few weeks ago. We're compiling a side-by-side comparison for the official Baby Bunching Double Stroller Guide. This will hopefully help walk you through the process if you’re thinking about a double stroller or actually ready to do the buying.
A quick question to our readers. Are you planning to buy a stroller in the next few months and struggling with all your choices and what to buy? If you are, email us. We’re looking for one Baby Bunching mom, who is about to invest in a stroller, and be her personal double stroller shopper. (No, we cannot buy your stroller for you. I wish we could.) We’ll walk you through which ones do what and what will give you the most bang for your buck. We’ll blog about it and hopefully it will benefit others along the way. Make we can even score some free stuff along the way.
Let us know: where you are in the stroller-buying proces, how far apart your kids are/will be, and where you live. Email us at babybunching [at] gmail [dot] com.
YES! I currently have a double stroller that I don't love. And I need a new one. I have a 4-yr old who won't really ride in a stroller very often any more, but I also have a 2-yr old and a 4-month old who I do need to put in a double stroller. Right now I have a front/back double that fits the baby's car seat and the 2-yr old, but its hard to push and heavy and not my favorite. But I don't know if I need a better front-to-back stroller or a good side-by-side stroller. The baby is big enough that he doesn't have to be in his car seat in the stroller as long as I can put a head rest in one of the seats for him. PLEASE HELP ME! :)

When I bought my double stroller, I did a ton of research and decided on the Sit N Stand Deluxe - unfortunately it's a lot bigger than the other Sit N Stands I see. Bummer. I guess that "deluxe" got me.
When my 2nd was smaller, I found it easiest to have her in the sling and the big one in the stroller. A lot of times we'll take the single stroller (Graco travel system) and they just take turns when they get tired (more often than not, I end up pushing a stroller full of coats and bags, and each of the kids is running in a different direction). They're 3 and 1-1/2 now. I am hoping that the double will become more useful as they get bigger (because it was an INVESTMENT), but only time will tell. I really don't use it as often as I thought it would. It's just too big and awkward to maneuver.
Great site! Thanks for the comment on PBs!!

We are still at the very beginning of looking for a stroller for our daughter and her sibling to arrive in April. They'll be 14 months apart. We're hoping to find one double that we both like a lot so that we don't end up with a bunch of strollers since we just don't have the room.

Since double strollers usually involve so much compromise (too big, no reclining, snack tray for big kid, etc) I am a firm believer in buying used and selling when done and buying the next one that's right for you.
I had a side by side when my son was in a nanny share with a same aged kid. Then, when I had #2, we used the big Sit N Stand so that the carseat could fit in it. Now that my little one can sit independently, I bought a used Joovy Caboose which is much smaller. I bought it used for $60 and when we're done, I'll sell it back to the used baby clothes store where I got it.

Yes! This post was written for me! I really need a new double stroller. I have the Graco Duoglider but it is too much of a beast for me to use easily. I am thinking about the Phil and Ted but am nervous to spend so much & can't find one on Craigslist. Please give me some advice.
